Our efforts to minimize waste include separating non-disposable materials and sending them to recycling facilities in the city. On-site, we implement composting toilets, which conserve water and promote environmental health. Solar power serves as our primary energy source, ensuring a clean and sustainable power supply. Additionally, organic kitchen waste is transformed into fertilizer, supporting eco-friendly agriculture and reducing overall waste.
Life on land
We actively collaborate with the local community to promote environmental and nature conservation. Our efforts include educating residents about the importance of preserving natural ecosystems and the long-term benefits for a healthier, sustainable lifestyle. We focus on protecting native herbs, flora, and fauna while introducing beekeeping initiatives to enhance plant pollination, contributing to biodiversity and agricultural productivity.

Eco-Friendly Infrastructure
Our lodge is designed with sustainability in mind. The cabins are built using locally sourced timber and natural materials, blending seamlessly with the surrounding forest. To reduce our environmental footprint, we rely on solar power for electricity and use composting toilets to conserve water.
Minimal Environmental Impact
Located in the heart of the forest, we’ve carefully chosen our site to ensure minimal disruption to the ecosystem. Our construction process was planned to limit impact, preserving the beauty and balance of the natural environment around us.
Waste Management and Recycling
We implement a thorough waste management system. Kitchen waste is separated into disposable and non-disposable categories. Disposable waste is repurposed as compost, while non-disposable items are sent to recycling facilities to minimize waste sent to landfills.
Conservation of Native Flora
At the lodge, we take pride in protecting and preserving native plants and herbs, some of which are becoming rare in the wild. We actively cultivate these herbs on our grounds to help conserve them and support biodiversity.
Supporting Local Communities
We are deeply committed to the social and economic well-being of the surrounding communities. Our efforts include educating locals about the importance of nature conservation and supporting the regional economy. We purchase fresh produce from local farmers in Lumle and Tanchowk, ensuring that our operations benefit the local economy and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
Empowering Women through Beekeeping
One of our most recent initiatives focuses on empowering women in local villages. We have provided basic beekeeping training to 10 women from two nearby communities, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to start their own beekeeping ventures. Each participant receives a beekeeping kit, including hives, protective gear, and instructional materials, to support them in their new endeavors.
