We have been working on minimizing waste as much as possible. Non-disposable waste produced in the lodge is separated and sent to recycle facility in the city. We have been using composting toilet in our lodge. We have been using solar power for power supply in our lodge. Disposable waste from the kitchen is used for organic fertilizer.
We have been working with local community closely for environment and nature conservation. We have been educating people for nature conservation and its benefit for better living. We have been trying to conserve native herbs, flora and fauna. Also introducing beekeeping for pollination of the plants.

Our lodge is built with sustainable measures. Our cabins are built with locally available timber and resources. We have been using solar systems for our power. We have been using a composting toilet. Our lodge is built in the middle of the forest with minimum impact on the environment possible. Our waste management includes kitchen waste which is disposable and non-disposable and is kept separately. The disposable waste is used for compost and non-disposable is sent for recycling. We protect native plants and herbs. We plant native herbs in our lodge area since those herbs are being disappeared in the open forest.
We have been working for social, economic, and environmental well-being of the region. We have been working with the local community closely. We have been giving awareness on conservation of nature, environment to local. We have been buying vegetables, groceries produced by local farmers from Lumle and Tanchowk village to empower local economy.
Recently, we have given basic beekeeping training to 10 women from two different villages and we will be giving a bee hive and a set of essential materials bee keeping including book, hats, gloves, smoker etc.
