Bee Keeping Project

At Kalsee Eco-Lodge, we have been providing environmental awareness to the local people. We preserve native trees and plants, respect nature, discourage poaching, compost biodegradable materials, and recycle plastic and solid waste as much as possible.

In addition, we have introduced beekeeping to local women. Because beekeeping plays such an important role in the environment, our company is striving to exhibit corporate social responsibility. An added bonus is that beekeeping is supplementing the income of the local people.

When groups are staying at Kalsee Eco-Lodge we offer a training experience in beekeeping – which reflects our ability to influence them on environmental concerns and efforts that they take back to their home countries. The reach is therefore worldwide!

Sponsorship Opportunity

Your contribution will help improve the life and economic welfare of local women in the community around our lodge. Beekeeping helps to balance the ecosystem of the local environment.

  1. Beehive with bees US$100
  2. Beekeeping equipment (protective hat, glove, smoke blower, and guide book) US$70

Recently we have given basic beekeeping training to 10 local women, and we are planning to give a beehive, and equipment set to each of the participants.
