Below are the standard terms & conditions for all our reservations. Before you book with us, please review these completely. Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask your representative.

Payments

We accept cheques and major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover in US dollars. Reservations made within 45 days of arrival date must be guaranteed with a major credit card immediately after receiving confirmation. Late payments may result in releasing your reservation, and re-booking will then be subject to availability.

Bookings :

• Payment/Deposit: (amount due)
• At the time of booking: 50% deposit
• In 30 days: Final payment is due

PLEASE NOTE:

All online bookings are due in full at the time of booking.

Note: A $30 per person change fee is applied to all changes to itineraries and is subject to availability.

Cancellation Fees

Written cancellation notice must be received by our office to cancel a reservation (via email, fax, or letter). Cancellation fees are based on the date when the cancellation notice is received. Vendors with a stricter cancellation policy will prevail.

Due to an abbreviated season and our remote location, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Cancellation Fees:

• 31 days or more prior to arrival: No Penalty.
• 30-16 days prior to travel: 10% cancellation fee.
• 15 days or less prior to travel: Nonrefundable.

Reservation Changes

A fee of $30 per person, per change, is applied to changes on confirmed itineraries and is subject to availability.

Please note:
Any changes will be limited to the policies and charges set by our service partners and will be applied to your account. If a documentation package has been sent prior to changes, a surcharge will apply to your account.

Travel Insurance

Life is full of uncertainties. Our remote locations and the extremely short season beyond the Himalayas make travel insurance a necessity.

We highly recommend you have travel insurance. For full terms and details for travel insurance coverage, please ask your travel experts.
Disclaimer of Liability

The Kalsee Ecolodge reserves the right to make changes and alterations to your trip as necessary for the safety and proper handling of your trip. We spare no effort to ensure a safe trip; however, outdoor activities of this nature are not entirely “risk-free.” We cannot assume the responsibility for injury to participants, personal belongings, or for time or expense incurred. We are not responsible for the cost of delays resulting from weather, road construction, or acts of God. Upon advancement of deposit, the depositor agrees to be bound by all of the above-stated terms and conditions.

Rates

Unless otherwise noted, all rates are per person based on double occupancy, and subject to adjustments without notice. Taxes and other applicable fees are additional.
We specialize in creating custom tours. Discuss your desires with our experienced Travel Experts to create an itinerary that suits you best. Package prices may vary based on product availability and applicable discounts.

Baggage

To ensure you have an enjoyable trip, we suggest traveling light and with soft luggage. Although there is no limit for our lodge however porters enforce a luggage limit of one soft-sided bag (30kgs max) and one carry-on per person. Storage for lodge guests with excess bags is available at our lodge at no charge. For other facilities, tours or activities please check with our travel experts.
